The state government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the Mukhyamantri Yuva Saroja yojana to increase the opportunities for self-employment for the educated but unemployed youth of the state. As a result, the NIC upstate centre has created a web portal with end-to-end computerization to offer a centralized platform for the program’s application, disposal, and real-time monitoring.

The Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana program has been launched by Uttar Pradesh’s government to increase self-employment opportunities for the state’s educated but unemployed youth. Eligibility
- The candidate must be an Indian national and an occupant of Uttar Pradesh with legal status.
- The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 40.
- Both the public and the private sector should be assigned to the candidate.
- The applicant should have yet to obtain a loan from another bank.
- The applicant should not be a recipient of any other government employment program.
- The applicants must have a bank account connected to their mobile number.
- The applicant must not have a history of financial default with another bank or organization.
- The applicant’s minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or an equivalent.
Who is going to gain from the plan?
Men and women who fall under the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, and general categories will profit from this program. The two sectors of the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana are the industrial and service sectors. The maximum loan amount is 25 lacs for the industrial sector and ten lacs for the service sector. Therefore, 25% of the total loan is the margin money required for these two industries.
Benefits of the Yojana
- This program is available to Uttar Pradesh’s educated youth.
- Under MYSY U.P., women from scheduled castes and scheduled tribes will receive reservations.
- Benefits will be provided to the 21% of unemployed scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
- According to this plan, many people will be employed if an individual establishes their industry.
- Following loan approval, the government will prioritize those working on cost-effective (lower-cost) units.
- The young person will receive a loan of rs. 25 lakh to launch an industry-related business and a loan of rs. 10 lakh to launch a service-related business.
Subsidy provided
The U.P government will offer a maximum loan amount of 25 lakhs for the establishment of industry, up to 10 lakhs for any business services, and up to 2 lakhs for small businesses under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana.
